Our medical social worker services address the social and emotional challenges that arise from a patient’s illness or sudden change in care needs, providing compassionate support to help individuals and their families cope while connecting them with essential financial, practical, and community resources to aid recovery and daily living. Delivered by our licensed medical social workers (MSWs), these services include comprehensive psychosocial assessment, counseling and coping strategies, assistance with access to welfare and financial resources, guidance on legal-related medical issues such as advance directives, as well as crisis intervention and advocacy.
